Teri Mann

CCSD Teacher

Teri Mann is a Gifted and Talented Education Teacher in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV. She graduated from UNLV with both a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Gifted Instruction.

Currently she is a GATE teacher at Ethel W. Staton Elementary School. Her passion is teaching gifted children Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). In addition to being a teacher in CCSD for the last twenty years, Teri is also a part-time science trainer for the Southern Nevada Regional Professional Development Department.

Teri has won the State of Nevada STEM Teacher of the Year Award (2018) as well as the Heart of Education Award (2022). Teri has called Las Vegas home for the last 34 years and is part of a family of educators.
