Kate Lackey

Principal Somerset Academy of Las VegasCharter School Representative

Mrs. Kate Lackey has worked at Somerset Academy of Las Vegas since 2014. As a principal, she opened the Skye Canyon campus in 2018.

Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Mrs. Lackey moved to the US with her family at a young age. Mrs. Lackey was raised in San Diego, California. She is married and has two beautiful children currently in high school.

She attended National University earning a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies followed by a masters’ in educational leadership.

Mrs. Lackey has worked with children and families in K-8 for over 26 years. She has extensive experience working with private and charter schools.
